BILLBOARD IDEA

BILLBOARD IDEA
my billboard idea needs to be basic but still fit to the theme. The reason why it needs to be basic is because obviously if people are reading it too much then they are not focusing on the road.
Billboards awe one of the most important things to consider when crafting a marketing strategy is your target audience. You want to make sure that you’re getting your message in front of the right people. If you have brick and mortar location or a relatively limited service area, then you don’t want to waste money on ads that target people outside your area. You also want to make sure that the people in your service area hear your message. Billboards allow you to succeed on both counts.
When you put your message on a billboard, you know where people will be when they see your message. You can look at the road the billboard is on and get a good idea of where people will be coming from and going to when they see your message. you want the billboard to be quite basic , mainly.
For my idea for the billboard i wanted to keep it simple but still holds similarities with the video advert , With the video idea i wanted to make it hit the 90's vibe , The philosophy around 90's fashion and theme has turned into a huge love in this generation , however i want to bring it in for the video and billboard.
For my idea i want the palace logo and Adidas logo to be split between a simplistic white line
WEBSITE BANNER IDEA
My idea for the banner was to have the Adidas sock as the background and have the palace x Adidas in the middle . However it doesn't fit

VIDEO IDEAS
1.
My first video idea was to create a wacky and funny type of video. As if we are taking the mick out of generic skateboarders and 'street wear'. i wanted to create a video where it deliberately looks rough and badly edited. However conveying that to the audience for me seemed to difficult. I questioned whether the audience would actually find it funny. however i had an idea of creating a rough green screen edit to link with the idea of that ' wacky theme '.
I took inspiration of one of palace's videos with jonah hill ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXoRZfClf0Q ). The video creates this brilliant awkwardness that i admired and wanted to use in my video.
the idea seemed good , I could add a little comedy and really emphasize how badly edited the video had been made to the audience to add the humor. researching the target audience of palace the overall audience of palace was skateboarders. And looking into 'skateboarders' music taste as much as stereo-typical it seems they really like musicians such as Tyler the Creator who has done many sketches like the one i wanted to do. that sense of wacky humor
but the reason why i didn't do it is because i just thought it will be too hard to show that to the audience. and if i did not have belief in the project i knew i wouldn't put 100% into it.
2.
However my second Idea seemed to relate to palace adverts more . after doing more thorough analysis i noticed that palace have recently used a 90's like theme towards there videos , I want to implement this theme by adding certain touches such as making the frame 4:3 , this makes the video its self look more vintage.
Some of the videos i took inspiration off:

Also i want to make the finishing touch to the video by creating a 3d model of the palace logo , they use this effect quite a lot. I want to try this in photo shop. pulling this off seems very hard but it doesn't mean i will not try.
The reason why i chose this idea is because i believe it has so much more potential than the first one , i have ideas that are much more in depth as well. I want to make this video look very retro with a hint of minimalism and modernism. using studio lights , green screen and other effects will help benefit this advert. Using these sets and effects can open up to so many effects that i can use to make this look like and actual palace advert. palace are known for using a wide range of effects in their adverts.
I need to bear in mind that i only have 30 seconds for this advert , however the ideas i have will be able to fit in this time gap. As i have said before i is going to have that 90's feeling.
To understand and add more depth to my video I researched why 90's fashion is coming back and why it is so admired in our generation which i am aiming this project at.
Banner idea :
For my idea i want to use a Glitch type of effect. What i mean by this is trying to make it looked like it had been glitched out. I might use a picture of london in all my print based to show to the audience that palace is in london.
